Description
The S.S. Milwaukee Clipper is the only US passenger ship left on the Great Lakes. The ship, formerly known as the SS Juniata, was launched in 1904 and sailed all of the Great Lakes as both an automobile ferry and passenger ship. She was refurbished as a modern cruise ship, and renaimed the SS Milwaukee Clipper in 1941. The vessel is now docked in Muskegon Michigan as a Marine Museum, and has been designated a National Historic Landmark open for public tours in the Summertime.
